A.The Cat 299D XHP Compact Track Loader, with its 110 HP power engine, high output hydraulic system, high lift forces, vertical lift design and torsion axle suspension, provides the maximum performance for work tool productivity, digging, truck loading and material handling in a wide range of underfoot conditions and applications.
B.Unlike most conventional skid steer/bobcat work platforms ours features rubber padded tracks. These tracks offer a number of benefits that not even steel tracks can match. The amount of pressure exerted per square inch is actually very low. This allows the machine to travel over large tree roots without causing any damage to the tree itself. The rubber tracks also leave a minimal footprint on grass surfaces, so the likelihood of any damage occurring to your lawn is minimized, when compared to a wheeled or steel tracked skid steer. The big advantage to tracks vs wheels on these machines is the ability to work in damp conditions. Most wheeled machines will get easily stuck in a muddy environment. By using rubber tracks we can continue to work in less than optimum condition.
C, The 72" wide HM415B mulcher is the heart of our land clearing service. The unit features a hydraulic drum with cutting teeth that spin at over 2600 rpm. The mulching unit works in two ways. First its able to push over and cut down small trees under 6" in diameter, in addition to cutting through brush and overgrowth. Second the unit is able to pass over dropped trees and debris and turn them into the mulch product that you are left with. There is not much that this unit won't cut through or cut up. We are passionate about Forestry Mulching and Land Clearing.
Our compact unit offers our customers the benefits of being able to get in tight spaces and the control to remove what needs to be removed without causing damage to other trees and plants. Watch below as our mulcher takes care of removing an shredding a small tree.
We have added a larger land clearing machine to our fleet to help expedite of of the bigger jobs we have taken on. Here we see the Cat 320c excavator with a forestry cutting head. The articulating cutting head gives us a lot more flexibility and speed when it comes time to take down difficult trees. The excavator platform does allow us to spend less time driving and more time cutting, although the larger size is not recommended for sensitive forestry areas. Watch below as our Cat 320c takes down and cuts up an entire tree.
Stump removal can use a number of different pieces of equipment. We have added a dedicated stump cutter to one of our skid steers. Having this unit in our fleet saves a lot of time as we can have a unit just dedicated to taking stumps down while the other machines clear land. This skid steer has a smaller footprint so it can get into more sensitive forestry areas - while limiting damage to turf and surrounding foliage. Take a look below at the stump cutter in action.
